Ultralight 55L framed pack

The Ultralight Framed 55L Pack is designed for trampers, hunters and adventurers who want to reduce pack weight without sacrificing the comfort needed for long days and heavy carries.
Unlike many ultralight packs, this is still a true framed backpack. It features a lightweight 12mm internal frame, load lifters, a fully padded hip belt and ergonomic shoulder straps using premium 10mm EVA foam. These are the same suspension components I trust in my own hunting pack and have comfortably used while carrying loads of up to 40kg out of the backcountry.
Rather than removing the features that make a pack comfortable, the weight savings come from eliminating unnecessary extras. The pack uses lightweight 15mm webbing and hardware where appropriate, a simplified compression system with a single side strap per side, and a lightweight forward-pull hip belt using 25mm webbing. High-stress areas, such as the lower shoulder strap adjustment, retain stronger 20mm webbing to ensure long-term durability.
Constructed entirely from Ultra 200 fabric, this is the lightest fabric I offer while still providing exceptional abrasion resistance and long-term durability in demanding New Zealand backcountry conditions.
With a 55-litre capacity and an average weight of around 900g, this pack comfortably carries loads of up to 20kg, making it an ideal choice for Adventure races, multi-day tramping, lightweight hunting trips and anyone looking for maximum comfort without unnecessary weight.
