Temporary Hold on Custom Pack Orders Subscribe for Updates on when orders open again and Premade Pack Availability.

Life sometimes brings unexpected changes, and it often requires us to pause certain activities to focus on what truly matters. In this post, I will explain why this decision was made, what it means if you are after one of my pack, and how to stay in touch regarding ordering a pack or getting ahold of a future premade pack.

Understanding the Hold on Custom Pack Orders

Creating custom packs has always been a rewarding part of my work. Personalization adds a special touch that many customers appreciate and can't get else where. However, the recent surge in demand has made it necessary to pause these orders. I want to maintain the quality and creativity that each custom order deserves.

For instance, fulfilling a single custom order can involve multiple emails, phone calls, time designing, and crafting. With a 20 week lead time on orders, keeping up while ensuring I deliver top-notch products has became overwhelming. So, for now, custom pack orders will be on hold.

What This Means for You

I understand that some of you might feel disappointed about the custom orders. However, this pause serves as an opportunity to catch up on the backlog of work and explore the idea of making premade packs. These packs will be carefully designed for different activities including packs designed for hunting, adventure racing, packrafting and tramping ect.

These premade packs will offer an excellent alternative, as they will be based on my years of making custom packs for these activities. Without the same processing time, I hope to be able to keep a good selection of packs in stock while still enjoying the unique and creative selection I am known for.

Once I have court up with the backlog and have a good selection of packs ready made I plan on reopening the custom pack orders.

Preparing for the Future

During this temporary hold on custom packs, I am taking steps to improve my process. This will be more efficient without sacrificing quality.

I will be looking into hiring help in the workshop and hope to find someone who can work along side me. This is a big leap from mainly working alone since the start.
